Mrs. Lillian B. Hubbard, 88

SHALLOTTE Mrs. Lillian Maria Beazley Hubbard, 88, of Shallotte, formerly of Stedman and Winston-Salem, died Monday August 3 at her residence. She was born in Cumberland County on July 8, 1921, the daughter of the late Harry L. Beazley Sr. and Jennie Bryant Beazley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Thurman J. Hubbard Sr. and a son, Robert L. Hubbard. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 8 at Magnolia Baptist Church with Rev. Andy Wood officiating. Burial will follow at Bryant Family Cemetery in Stedman. Mrs. Hubbard is survived by two sons, Thurman J. Hubbard, Jr. of Winston-Salem and Jeffrey L. Hubbard of Shallotte; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter named Lillian. The family will greet friends from 7 to 9 P.M., Friday, August 7 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.
