Mrs. Lillian Grace Edwards, 85

ROSEBORO Mrs. Lillian Grace Edwards, 85 of Roseboro, died on Tuesday, January 29, 2013 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. A graveside service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 1, 2013 at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. David Williams officiating. Mrs. Edwards was born on May 26, 1927 in Sampson County to the late Dallie Perry and Carrie Owen Sessoms. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, John Robert Edwards. She was a Librarian. She is survived by: three sons, Roger Edwards and wife Mary Evelyn of Laurinburg, Kent Edwards and fiance` Yonna Buchanan of Garland and Michael J. Edwards and fiance` Sherry Bradford of Clinton; one brother, Fred A. Sessoms and wife Hilda of Roseboro; and three grandchildren, Douglas Edwards of Asheville, Anna Edwards and Kathleen Edwards both of Charlotte. The family will receive friends following the service in the Mill Creek Baptist Church Fellowship Hall. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
