Lillian Belle (Cannady) Hobbs

Mrs. Lillian Belle Hobbs, 86 of Roseboro and Fairfax, Virginia went home to be with the Lord on Friday, December 31, 2021 at The Gardens of Roseboro.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 4, 2022 at the Roseboro Cemetery with Rev. Andy Wood officiating.

Mrs. Hobbs was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Herman and Lillian Cooper Cannady.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert Arnold Hobbs; grandson, James Robert Wagner; sister, Ruby Faircloth and brother James Cannady.  She was a retired cashier for Safeway Grocery.

She is survived by two daughters, Connie Jenkins and husband, Lindsay of Culpepper, VA and Pam Wagner and husband, John of Fairfax, VA; three sisters, June Dillon and Becky Hairr both of Greensboro and Martha Hayes and husband, Gentry of Fayetteville; four grandchildren, Jackie Lynn Jenkins, Monica Elaine Alexander and husband, Stephen, Kelsey Ann Wagner and John Arnold Wagner.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to the Pruitt Health Hospice, 2850 Village Drive, Suite 201, Fayetteville, NC  28304.
