Mrs. Lessie Bell Sessoms Autry, 69

Mrs. Lessie Bell Autry, 69 of 722 Hitching Post Road, Roseboro, passed away Friday, December 4, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Peniel Pentecostal Holiness Church, Roseboro, with Pastor Jeff Bartlett officiating.

She was born July 30, 1946 in Sampson County and was the daughter of the late Preston and Lillian Mae Riner Sessoms. She formerly worked with Lundy Packing Company of Clinton.

She is preceded in death by her parents; former husband, Dixon Strickland; sisters, Eva Sessoms, Edna S. Ammons; and brothers, John C. Sessoms, Donnie Preston Sessoms, Jessie Jerry Sessoms, Floyd Allen Sessoms, James Henry Sessoms, Perry Wayne Sessoms; and grandchildren, Bridgette Michelle Strickland, Alexis Strickland.

She is survived by her husband, William Paul Autry of the home; children, Waylon Harold Strickland of Clinton, Rebecca Ann Strickland of Autryville, Jennie Sue House of Roseboro; brothers, Ollie Lee Sessoms, Mike Erwin Sessoms; grandchildren, Madison Hope Strickland, Cody Anson Whitley, Savanna Alease Strickland, Amanda Sue House, Brook House, Hunter Autry; and great grandchildren, Logan Faircloth, Leavy Faircloth.
