SALEMBURG
Mrs. Lessie Ann Parker, 84, of Salemburg, went home to be with the Lord on Monday February 3, 2025 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church with Reverend Andy Wood and Reverend Chris Butler officiating. The burial will follow at Parker Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
Mrs. Parker was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of Dennis and Thelma Parker. She is preceded in death by her husband, Brady; her parents; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Helen Rose and Edward Barker, Jean and Walker Bellamy, and Martha and Bobby Tew; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol Jean and Joe Cannady.
She is survived by her daughter, Debbie McDonald and husband, Ralph of Aberdeen; son, Ken Parker and wife, Roberta of Roseboro; her loving granddaughters, Meghan Core and husband, Ethan of Dunn and Sydney Baggett and husband, Josh of Godwin; her great grandson, the light of her life (Little Man) Granger Core; sister, Frankie Tyndall and husband, Billy of Raleigh; and a multitude of nieces and nephews. She also loved her fur babies.
The family would like to say a special thanks to The Gardens of Roseboro for the compassionate care given during her stay.
