STEDMAN
Mrs. Lessie Mae Johnson Norris Taylor, 73, passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in her home. She was a homemaker.
The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Randal Strickland officiating. The Pallbearers will be Adam Norris, Alfred Norris, Glenn Norris, Travis Norris, Terry Johnson and Jamey Autry. Burial will follow in the Norris-Hall Cemetery in Stedman.
Mrs. Taylor was born August 10, 1939 to the late Lessie Mae Smith Johnson and Richmond Pearson Johnson of Sampson County.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by; first husband, Willis Mack Norris, second husband, Jessie Taylor, and her brothers, twin brother, Graham C., Eugene, Charlie, Johnny and Burnes, a sister, Eula Bell, and a son-in-law, Eddie Norris, Sr.
She is survived by her daughter, Katie Norris of the home, three grandchildren, Eddie Norris Jr., and wife, Jessica of Hampstead, Adam Norris and wife, Terri of Stedman, and Stephanie Norris and fiancé, Richard of Wade, three brothers, Grayford Johnson and wife, Linda of Harrells, Ernest Johnson and wife, Deloris of Bladenboro, and Linwood Johnson of Elizabethtown, and six great grandchildren, Hannah, Trey, BreAanna, Jacob, Anthony and Joshua.
The visitation will be Friday, August 31, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home.
