Leonard Albert Williams, 81 went to be with the Lord on Monday, January 15, 2024.

Funeral service will be held 11:00 AM Thursday, January 18, 2024 at Stedman Baptist Church, officiating will be Rev. Jimmy Atkinson and Rev. Craig Autry.  Burial will follow at Cypress Creek Baptist Church Cemetery (1321 Old Fayetteville Road, Garland, NC  28441).

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 10:50 AM Thursday at the church before the service.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Sally Williams; step-son, Steve Davis; and a sister, Rose Mary Woods.

Leonard worked at Wellman Fibers for 35 years, loved the outdoors, and an avid motorcyclist.  He especially enjoyed riding his Goldwing Motorcycle; which he enjoyed riding with his wife for over 30 years.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife, Linda Davis Williams; step-daughter, Susie Beal & husband, Troy; step-son, Joe Davis & wife, Kristan; sister, Nancy Jernigan; and 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and step-daughter-in-law, Mary Ann Davis.
