Mrs. Leola V. Collier, 76

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Leola Virginia Collier, 76 of 3435 McChoen Drive, died on Sunday, January 24, 2010 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, January 28, 2010 at 10:30 A.M. at Butler Funeral Home with Rev. Tony Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery in Spring Lake. Mrs. Collier was born on April 19, 1933 in Bladen County to the late George Fletcher and Mary Kate Shaw Cain. She was a member of West Fayetteville Baptist Church and worked as a Cashier in the School Cafeteria. Mrs. Collier is survived by: her husband, William E. Collier, Sr. of the home; two sons, William E. Collier, Jr. and wife, Adell of Fayetteville and Randy Collier and wife, Susan of Fayetteville; three daughters, Vicky Lee and husband, Terry of Fayetteville, Donna McPhaul and husband, Billy of Fayetteville, and Susan Stephenson and fiance`, Jimmy Hobaugh of Benson; four sisters, Peggy Smith and husband, Nathan, Mary Hairr and husband, Clarence, Sudie Roa, and Margaret Wright and husband, Larry, all of Fayetteville; one brother, Robert Cain of Roseboro; 5 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Arrangements by Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
