Mrs. Lennie Davis Smith, 87

FAYETTEVILLE Mrs. Lennie Davis Smith, 87, of 8405 Turnbull Rd. died Friday, December 23 at Cumberland Nursing And Rehabilitation Center in Fayetteville. She was a retired bookkeeper for Fayetteville Children's Clinic. Mrs. Smith was born in Cumberland County, the daughter of the late Theado Davis and Lettitia Faircloth. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 31 at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Rob Wingo and Rev. Larry West officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Smith is survived by two daughters, Martha Smith Winfield of Lake Wales, FL and Melanie Smith Leslie of Dunn; one son, Jack Smith (wife Jeanie) of Fayetteville; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 P.M., Saturday at the church.A funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, December 31 at Sharon Baptist Church with Rev. Rob Wingo and Rev.
