Mr. Layton Elmore Page, 64 of Godwin passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at his home.

A private family service will be held at a later date

Mr. Page was a native of Sampson County, the son of Preston and Lib Page. He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Norma Howard. He worked for South River Electric in marketing and member services.

He is survived by wife, Patsy Page of the home; a daughter, Terra Beth Page Register and husband, Lance of Godwin; two step-daughters, Amy Jordan Slaughter and husband, Mark of Knoxville, TN and Julie Ann Jordan Johnston and husband, Gordon of Charlotte; grandchildren, Jacob Register, Jaron Register, Grace Slaughter, Luke Slaughter, Camille Slaughter and Elizabeth Ann Johnston; two brothers, Larry Page of Fayetteville and Craig Page of Godwin; brother-in-law, Tom Howard of Autryville; several nieces, nephews and cousins; and his very special dog, Gunner.

Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, NC.
