Mr. Lawrence W. "Larry" Edwards

FAYETTEVILLE Mr. Lawrence William "Larry" Edwards, 88, of 5702 Turnbull Road passed away Sunday, March 22 at his home. He was retired from Bush Hog Implement Co. where he was credit manager. A native of Mound City, Illinois, he was the son of Elmer Otto Edwards and Coral Cicely Loeschner. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 24 at Cedar Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. John M. Peverett officiating. Mr. Edwards is survived by his wife, Eileen Kingery Edwards of the home; four daughters, Sharon Detwiler (husband Ross) of Bridgewater, Conn., Lauren Vanden Heuvel (husband Greg) of Kansas City, KA., Cicely Watson (husband Joe) of Fayetteville, NC and Jo Ellen Taylor (husband Jack) of Colorado Springs, Col.; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
