Mr. Lawrence Pearley Jones, 75

ROSEBORO Mr. Lawrence Pearley Jones, 75 of 341 McDaniels Road, died on Monday March 5, 2007 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday March 7, 2007 at 3:00 P.M. at Roseboro Church of God with the Rev. Eddie Smith and Rev. Mitchell Norville officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Gardens in Clinton. Mr. Jones was born in 1931 in Sampson County to the late Leslie and Vara Lewis Jones. He was a former Truck Driver with Boren Brick Co. Mr. Jones is survived by: his wife, Betty Jones of the home; one brother, Stanley Jones of Roseboro; and one sister, Agnes Christian of Wisconsin. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home of his brother, 198 Dewberry Lane, Roseboro.
