Lavone Johnson, 72 passed away Friday, November 18, 2016 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

She was born in Harnett County to the late James Felton Stewart and Thelma Messer Stewart. She is also preceded in death by her son, Mark Stewart; her grandson, Mark Stewart, Jr.; sister, Flonnie Page; and brothers, Ozzie and Bobby Stewart.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm Tuesday, November 22, 2016 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel, officiating will be Pastor John Adderley. Interment will follow at Cross Creek Cemetery #4 in Fayetteville.

The family will receive friends from 1:00pm to 2:00pm Tuesday at the funeral home before the service.

She is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Aguilar, and husband, Jesse; grandchildren, Pepe and Dora Aguilar; Angela Stewart; great grandchildren, Gabriela Stewart, Hailey and Matthew Garcia; sister, Margie Seifert and her children, Edward and Paul Seifert; and several nieces and nephews.

Services entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 6535 Clinton Road, Stedman.
