Mrs. Laura Lane Pope Honeycutt, 83 went to be with the Lord on Friday, April 22, 2022 at Sampson Regional Medical Center.

A funeral service will be held at Corinth Baptist Church at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 25, 2022 with the Reverend Bill Hume officiating. The burial will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro on Sunday, April 24, 2022.

Mrs. Honeycutt was a native of Durham County, the daughter of Thomas C. and Elfleda Averette Pope. She was preceded in death by her parents, her 1st husband, Harvey Floyd McLamb and her son, Johnny Nelson McLamb.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Paul W. Honeycutt of the home; three sons, Tommy McLamb and wife, Lynn of Clinton; Kent McLamb and wife, Robyn of Raeford; and Scott McLamb and wife, Silvia of Salemburg; two step-daughters, Evie Smith and husband, Jimmy of Fayetteville; and Layne Harper and husband, Dwight of Waynesville; three sisters, Dorothy Strickland of Salemburg; Brenda Matthews and husband, Jimmy of Fuquay Varina; and Linda Faircloth and husband, Leonard of Salemburg; her fourteen grandchildren and eleven great- grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Wanda West and husband, Ken of Salemburg.

Memorials may be made to Corinth Baptist Church, 991 Corinth Church Rd., Salemburg, NC 28385; in memory of Mrs. Honeycutt.
