Ms. Laura Ann Averitt, 62

Ms. Laura Ann Averitt, 62 of Clinton, died February 18, 2012, at Southwood Nursing Center. The funeral will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with Rev. Ken White officiating. Burial will follow in the Autryville Cemetery. Ms. Averitt was born on April 28, 1949, in Harnett County to Marion Kurshaw Hayes and the late Laura Christine Allen Hayes. She is preceded in death by her husband, Donnie Averitt and her brother Ruthford Hayes. She is survived by two daughters, Aimee Saunders of Newton Grove and Stephanie Averitt of Stedman, one granddaughter, Maddy Peterson of Newton grove, her father, Marion Hayes of Autryville, one sister, Marian Cortez of Fayetteville, one brother, Harold Hayes of Fayetteville, and one niece, Melissa Hoch of Oakland, CA. The family will receive friends Monday, February 20, 2012, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Visitation will be Monday, February 20, 2012, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. The funeral will be Tuesday, February 21, 2012, at 11:00 AM at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman. Burial will follow in the Autryville Cemetery.
