AUTRYVILLE

Mr. Lathan Arbie Fisher, Sr., 67 of 10082 Norris Road, Autryville, passed away Sunday, December 6, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The funeral will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 9 at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro, with Reverend Jerry Fisher and Reverend Dr. David Bays officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen Baptist Church Cemetery.

He was born October 9, 1948 in Sampson County and was a farmer. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arbie Beaman and Nora Howell Fisher; daughter, Angela Woodlief; and son, Lathan "Tom" Fisher, Jr.

He is survived by his wife, Cathy Hall Fisher; daughters, Kelly Smith of Sanford, Tina Hall of Clinton; son, Daniel Fisher of Raleigh; brothers, R.B. Fisher of Roseboro, Wyman Fisher of Autryville, Jerry Fisher of Roseboro; and 16 grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, December 8 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.
