Mr. Larry C. Starling, 62

Hope Mills Mr. Larry Curtis Starling, 62, passed away Saturday, June 11 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center. He worked in the construction industry as a heavy duty crain operator. Larry is survived by: his father and mother, Thomas P. Barefoot and Mildred Anne Barefoot of Hope Mills; son, Larry Curtis Starling, Jr. of Fayetteville; sisters, Jeanette Johnson of Hope Mills, "Dee" Callahan of Parkton and Michelle Carter of Autryville; grandchildren, Ashley Starling and Annika Starling. The family will have a private memorial service at a future date.
