Larry Perdo Lucas

Roseboro Mr. Larry Perdo Lucas, 71 of Roseboro went home to be with his Lord on Monday, November 29, 2021 at his home. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday, December 2 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Stephen Reeves officiating.  Burial will follow in the Lucas Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 - 2:50 PM at the funeral home prior to the service. Mr. Lucas was a native of Sampson County, the son of Perdo and Verma Tart Lucas.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a granddaughter, Caroline Robinson; brother, Bobby Lucas and two sisters, Margaret Crumpler and Jean Tindall.  He was a sheet metal worker. He is survived by his wife, Elgie Lucas of the home; daughter, Angie Robinson and fiance, Kevin Mitchell of Roseboro; step-daughter, Christy Brigman and husband, Ward of Lumberton; brother, Jerry Lucas of Roseboro; sister, Judy Lucas of Roseboro; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
