Mr. Larry Mixton Knowles,, 68 Sr.

SALEMBURG

Mr. Larry Mixton Knowles, Sr., 68 of Salemburg, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2016 at Rex Hospital in Raleigh.

A graveside service will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday at Sunrise Memorial Gardens, S. Salemburg Highway, Salemburg, with Reverend Andy Wood officiating.

He was born on October 19, 1947 in Sampson County and is preceded in death by his father, Mixton Knowles. He worked as a repairman with Carolina Telephone.

He is survived by his daughter, Shelia Davidson and husband Jake of Roseboro; son, Larry Knowles, Jr. and wife Tammy of Myrtle Beach, SC; his mother, Mallie Bass Knowles of Clinton; sister, Sylvia Draughon of Clinton; and grandchildren, McKenzie Davidson, and Dylan Davidson.

Arrangements are by Butler Funeral Home of Roseboro.
