Mr. Larry Allen King, Jr.

Autryville Larry Allen King, Jr., 37, of 3548 Ernest Williams Road, Autryville, went to be with his Heavenly Father on May 6, 2008 at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 9, at Union Grove Baptist Church, 395 Vander Road, Salemburg, with the Rev. Allen West and Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Born on April 25, 1971, Allen was the son of Larry and Karen King. Allen attended the Compensatory Education Class at the Sampson Community College Annex in Roseboro. Allen was a loving and special son whose enduring smile and brown eyes will forever be missed. Allen's memory will live in the hearts of those who knew and loved him. Allen enjoyed going to class, riding and seeing motorcycles. Surviving, in addition to his mother and father, are his sister, Amy Dale and her husband Jonathan Dale, and niece Raychel Elizabeth Dale, all of Autryville. Allen is also survived by many special aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p. m. Thursday night May 8 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and at other times at the home. Allen was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Cass and Alene Jackson, paternal grandparents Bonnie and Thelma King and a special cousin Adam Jackson. The family wants to express a heartfelt thank you to Elsie Williams, Rhonda Lockamy, Margaret Hairr, and Leslie Autry for their years of devoted caregiving. A special thank you to Dr. Mac Herring for all the care and attention given to Allen in the past 33 years.
