ROSEBORO
Mr. Larry Alton Farmer, 67 of 914 Hitching Post Road, Roseboro, died on Friday, November 14, 2014 at his home.
The funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, November 17, 2014 at Four Points Church of God, 3772 Hayfield Road, Wade, with Rev. Michael Lambert officiating. Burial will follow at Sessoms-Peterson Cemetery in Roseboro.
Mr. Farmer was born on November 2, 1947 in Cumberland County to the late Henry Alton and Mollie Irene Ford Farmer. He was a maintenance worker with the N.C. Department of Transportation.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Mary Sessoms Farmer; adopted son, Augusta Reyes of the home; sister, Bonnie Hall and husband Hubert of Autryville; brothers, Henry Farmer and friend Carolyn of Creedmor and Elmer Farmer and wife Helen of Leland; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday afternoon from 1:00 P.M. to 1:45 P.M. at Four Points Church of God and other times at 727 Ford Road, Autryville.
