ROSEBORO
Mr. Kirby Paul Bullard, Sr., 66 of 13546 N.C. Highway 210 S., in the Beaver Dam community, died on Wednesday, December 2, 2009 at Wesley Long Community Hospital in Greensboro.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 5, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at Beaver Dam Baptist Church with Dr. Lynn Bullock and Rev. Jeff Bartlett officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Mr. Bullard was born on August 24, 1943 in Sampson County and was a native of Cumberland County. He is preceded in death by: his parents, Paul Vernon and Leanna Smith Bullard; and one sister, Elouise Barrick. He worked as a Supervisor with Pepsi Cola for twenty-five years and then owned and operated his own pressure washing business.
Mr. Bullard is survived by: his wife, Edna Carter Bullard of the home; three children, Kirby Paul Bullard, Jr. of Beaver Dam, Reggie Kirby Bullard, Sr. of Beaver Dam, and Paula Dannette Bullard Hayes of Greensboro; seven brothers and sisters, Lettie Lou Gray of Autryville, Vernon Bullard of Beaver Dam, Vonnie Ray Bullard of Beaver Dam, Bonnie Mae Westray of Virginia, Dorothy Royal of Autryville, Murray Bullard of Beaver Dam, and William Bullard of Roseboro; six grandchildren, Jason Randall Bullard, Derek Kirby Bullard, Eric Paul Bullard, Reggie Kirby Bullard, Jr., Kalynn Nicole Hayes, and Matthew Dalton Hayes; and five great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, Roseboro, and other times at the home of his son, Reggie at 12577 N.C. Highway 210 S., in the Beaver Dam community.
