Mr. Kermit Lee Ballance, 91

EASTOVER

Mr. Kermit Lee Ballance, 91, of Eastover, passed away Friday, January 6, 2017 at Bethesda Heath Care Facility.

He was born November 15, 1925 in Cumberland County and is preceded in death by his parents, Archie Franklin and Mammie Pittman Ballance; and his wife, Lena J. Ballance. He worked with the Cumberland County Board of Education.

He is survived by his sons, Fred and wife Betty Ballance of Eastover, Garry and wife Lisa Ballance of Corydon, Indiana; sister, Mildred Ballance Matthews of Autryville; grandchildren, Pamela Ballance, Craig and wife Brittany Ballance, Cheryl Macias, Daniel and wife Leann Ballance, Leigh and husband Andrew Porcelli; and great grandchildren, Marion Macias, Ethan Macias, Elena Macias.

The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am Monday at Lebanon Baptist Church, 3329 Beard Road, Eastover, with Reverend Garry Ballance and Reverend Dr. John Campbell officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 10:45 am Monday prior to the service.
