Mr. Kenneth Wayne Nunnery, 71 of Autryville passed away on Sunday, September 26, 2021 at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 PM Thursday, Sept. 30 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with Rev. Greg Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM - 6:50 PM Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Mr. Nunnery was a native of Sampson County, the son of Troy C. and Roney Mae Matthews Nunnery. He was preceded in death by his parents and loving granddaughter, Ashlee Nunnery. He was retired from Century Link as an installment technician.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia Nunnery of the home; two sons, Kenneth Lee Nunnery (Renee Cain) and Troy Wayne Nunnery all of Autryville; three grandchildren, Haley Anne Nunnery, Seth Brayton Nunnery and Johnathan Hairr; brother, Gregory Nunnery of Fuquay-Varina; two nephews, Troy Lamar Bullard and Kevin Carroll; and two nieces, Sandy McDonald and Carol Nunnery.
