Kenneth Dwight Ford

Mr. Kenneth “Ken” Dwight Ford, 68 of Clinton, passed away Sunday, August 8, 2021 at his home.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00pm Thursday, August 12, 2021 at Mount Carmel Church Family Life Center, 1656 Mount Carmel Church Road, Autryville, with Pastor Bryan Strickland and Paul Williams officiating.  Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.

Mr. Ford was born October 15, 1952 in Sampson County and was the son of Albert Layton and Annie Louise Williams Ford.  He was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Sylvia Knowles Ford.  He worked as a Tire Builder with Goodyear Tire.

He is survived by his daughter, Keli Ford Sykes and husband, David of Fayetteville; three grandchildren, Dylan Sykes, Bayli Sykes, and Tenli Sykes; his sister, Karen Wooten of Benson; his brother, Elwyn Ford and wife, Donna of Dunn; and many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.

The family will receive friends from 1:00-1:50 pm Thursday prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mount Carmel Church of God of Prophecy, 1615 Mount Carmel Church Road, Autryville, NC 28318 for the Cemetery Fund.
