Mrs. Katie Earl Howell Mccullen Hines, 78

ROSEBORO Mrs. Katie Earl Howell McCullen Hines, 78, of 807 W. Clinton Street, formerly of Wilmington, passed away Monday, March 23, 2009 at Wake Medical Center. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Roseboro Cemetery with the Rev. Roger White officiating. Mrs. Hines was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late David and Mollie Porter Howell. She was a teller supervisor with Wachovia Bank before retiring. Mrs. Hines is survived by: daughter, Deborah Gail Koester and husband Bob, of New Bern; son, William Joseph McCullen, of Wilmington; sister, Pauline McLemore, of Roseboro; two grandchildren, Paige Summerfield Massey, of Norwalk, Conn. and Michael T.
