Mrs. Kathleen J. Royal, 92

SALEMBURG

Kathleen J. Royal, 92, passed away April 27, 2018. Mrs. Royal along with her husband, Stacy, owned and operated Stacy's Food Center in Salemburg for many years before she was Secretary for Salemburg Elementary School from 1968 to 1990.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Josephine Johnson, loving husband, Stacy Allen Royal, and brothers, Payton and Eddis Johnson.

Surviving is her son, Larry Royal and wife, Marie, daughter Kathy Moore and husband, Larry, grandson, Neil Mitchell, granddaughter, Brooke Mitchell, granddaughter, Sommer and husband, Bobby Smith, great granddaughter, Julia Smith, step grandsons, Steve Andrews and Tommy Moore, step granddaughter, Amy Moore, sisters, Rachel Bland and husband, William, Mildred Johnson, and Helen Martinez, and many nephews and nieces.

Mrs. Royal's celebration of life will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Salemburg Baptist Church at 3:00pm with the Reverend John Adams officiating. Burial will follow in the Salemburg Cemetery. Visitation will be held in the Church sanctuary before the service from 2:00 to 2:45pm. The family will be at the home of her son, Larry, at 244 Camellia Drive, Salemburg at other times.
