Mrs. Kathleen Roark Kelsey, 87 went to be with the Lord on Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, May 18, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman, officiating will be Rev. Stan Carter.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the funeral home before the service.

Kathleen was born in Carter County, Tennessee to the late Trospy William Roark and Martha Jane Campbell Roark.  In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her sisters, Betty Jean Devault, Sarah Elizabeth Roark, and Thelma Ruth Fulton.

She leaves to cherish her husband, William "Bill" Kelsey of the home; children, Roger Malcolm Kelsey of Stedman, Wayne Anthony Kelsey of Stedman, Karen Angela Norris & husband, Ralph of Church Hill, TN, Diana Kelsey Byrd of Stedman and Darryl Everett Kelsey & wife, Lisa of Stedman; grandchildren, Kevin Blair, Joey Blackwell, Chris Niermans, Amanda Stewart and Katlyn Naylor; 7 great grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; and a brother, John Thomas Roark.
