Ms. Katherine Jane (Register) Mercer, 57 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at her home.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at Stedman Baptist Church with the Reverend Billy Cashwell and Reverend Jimmy Atkinson officiating. The burial will follow at Concord Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 – 10:50 AM on Wednesday, October 12, 2022 at the church prior to the service.

Ms. Mercer was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of James and Ellen Catherine Burg Register. She was preceded in death by her father.

She leaves to cherish her memory her significant other, Danny Nunnery; seven children, Abigail Mercer (Jon), John Mercer (Michelle), Aaron Mercer, Bryan Mercer (Tiffany), Buckie Mercer (Madison), Andrea Mercer (Cameron) and Elaine Mercer (Brad); ten grandchildren, Matthew, Xaiver, Cort, John Jr., Cameron, Abraxas, Rachelle, Billy, Parker and Preston; her mother, Ellen Catherine Register; her sister, Tina Surom (Danny); and her brother, James Register (Chong).
