Mrs. Katherine G. Owens, 84

ROSEBORO Mrs. Katherine Greene Owens, age 84 of 868 Microwave Tower Road, died on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at Wake Medical Center in Raleigh. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. at Mill Creek Baptist Church with Rev. David Williams, Rev. Hampton Faircloth and Rev. Roger White officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mrs. Owens was born on September 6, 1925 in Sampson County to the late Bertus B. and Portia Lee Lockamy Greene. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Owens is survived by: two sons, William A. Owens and Shelton R. Owens both of Roseboro; one daughter, Teresa S. Norris of Garland; two sisters, Doris West of Salemburg and Eloise Greene of Roseboro; six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro, and other times at the home. Arrangements by Butler Funeral Home, 401 W.
