Karen (Ezzell) Gunter

Ms. Karen (Ezzell) Gunter, 64 went to be with the Lord on Friday, August 4, 2023 at her home in Evington, Virginia.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, August 9, 2023 at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro with the Reverend Bryan Owens officiating. The family will receive friends after the service.

Karen was born in Newport News, VA, the daughter of Kenneth Earl and Mary Barbour Ezzell. She was preceded in death by her mother; and her brother, Eddie Earl Ezzell.

She is survived by her son, James William Gunter, III and his wife Amy of Arlington, VA; and her father Kenneth Earl Ezzell of Lynchburg, VA.

A service celebrating her life will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Monday, August 7, 2023 at Whitten Timberlake Chapel with Celebrant Carol Tyree officiating.
