SALEMBURG Mr. K. Howard Underwood, 64 of 1030 Old Salemburg Road, died on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at The Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville. The funeral service will be held on Monday, October 11, 2010 at 11:00 A.M. at Roseboro First Baptist Church with Rev. Hampton Faircloth and Rev. Roger White officiating. Burial will follow at the Salemburg Cemetery. Mr. Underwood was born on September 15, 1946 and was a native of Sampson County. He is preceded in death by his father, Kenneth W. Underwood. He worked in Food Service at Womack Army Hospital for 26 years. He is survived by: his mother, Edna Underwood of the home; one brother, Mike Underwood of the home; and one sister, Judy Watts of Salemburg. The family will receive friends at the home.
