Mr. Junius Edwin Tanner, 61

SALEMBURG

Mr. Junius Edwin Tanner, 61 of 203 S. Main Street, Salemburg, passed away Monday, January 25, 2016.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, January 27, at his home with Reverend Bobby Tew and Reverend Andy Wood officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.

Mr. Tanner was born on January 22, 1955 in Sampson County to the late Ralph Tanner, Sr. and Agnes Warren Tanner. He worked as the Public Works Director with the Town of Salemburg.

He is survived by his wife, Gail Faircloth Tanner of the home; one daughter, Heather Bullard and husband Brandon of Roseboro; one son, Dale Tanner and wife Wanda of Clinton; and five grandchildren, Josh Tanner, Alyssa Tanner, Georgia Grace Tanner, Dylan Bullard, and Brice Bullard.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the family to help offset funeral costs; or to one's favorite charity.
