AUTRYVILLE
Mr. Junius Ray Simmons, 57 of 35 Tanner Lane, Autryville, died on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Friday, January 20, 2012 at the Ray Family Cemetery in Autryville with Mr. Ricky Ray officiating.
Mr. Simmons was born on November 2, 1954 in Sampson County to the late Junius Elliot and Eunice Pauline Nance Simmons. He worked as a Mechanic with Smithfield Packing Company in Tarheel.
He is survived by: his wife, Rosemary Reaves Simmons of the home; two daughters, Candy Varnadore and Susan Countryman both of Autryville; six sisters, Rosie Bryant of Autryville, Mary Fann of Wallace, Kaye Austin and Faye Ezzell both of Roseboro, Judy Bradshaw and Alma Fields both of Trinity; two brothers, Corbin Simmons of Valdese and James Simmons of Hickory; and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro and other times at the home.
