Mr. Junie Mack Hairr, 78 of Salemburg went home to be with his Lord on Saturday, March 15, 2025.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Union Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Shawn Berryhill and Rev. Adam Capps officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00- 1:50 PM on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at Union Grove Baptist Church prior to the service and at other times at the home.

Mr. Hairr was a native of Sampson County, the son of Stephen and Edna Edwards Hairr.  He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Joyce Hairr Dixon.  He was retired as a Central Office Technician with Sprint Telephone  Company .  He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church, where he served as a Deacon, Choir Member and a Sunday School Teacher.

He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years, Brenda Butler Hairr of the home; two sons, Steve Hairr and wife Angela of Spartanburg, SC and Brent Hairr and wife, Teresa of Salemburg; five grandchildren, Jordan Hairr and wife, Ashley, Megan Blanton and husband, Richie, Allison Bonner and husband, Curt, Hannah Godwin and husband, Brandon and Emily Capps and husband, Adam; ten great grandchildren and one due in May.
