Julia Darlene (Pleasants) Locklear, 55 passed away on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

Julia was born in Cumberland County to the late, Raymond & Julia Pleasants. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by nephew, Dwayne Pleasants, Jr.; and her niece, McKenzie Pleasants.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Ricky Locklear; children, Joshua Pleasants, Rocky Pleasants (Becky), Jacob Best, and Julia Locklear (Jasmin); siblings, Tim Pleasants, Dwayne Pleasants (Missy), and Melissa Culbreth (Brian); and her nephew, Toby Culbreth (Caitlin).
