Ms. Judy Ann Tew, 69

ATLANTIC CITY Ms. Judy Tew, 69 of Atlantic, died Tuesday October 25, 2011, at her home after a short battle with cancer. She was surrounded by her family. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Sunday, October 30, 2011 at Baptist Chapel Church Cemetery with Dr. James Dees, Jr. officiating. Ms. Tew grew up in Sampson County and was the daughter of the late Percy and Iruthie Tew. She was a supervisor at Burlington Industries and later in life became a CNA. Even after her working career she became a caregiver to anyone in the family who needed her. She is survived by: her daughter, Felicia Johnson and husband, Ben of the home; one brother, Lelon Tew; three nieces and five nephews; and special friends, Ringo, Blaze and Earl. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Carteret County, P.O. drawer 1619, Morehead City, N.C. 28557. The family would like to thank the staff of Hospice of Carteret County.
