Mrs. Judy Mae Hammond, 66

STEDMAN

Mrs. Judy Mae Hammond, 66 of Stedman, passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

The funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, January 22 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman with the Rev. Stan Carter officiating. Burial will follow in the Salemburg Pentecostal Free Will Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was a native of Cumberland County, the daughter of the late James Riley and Marie Faircloth Haithcock. She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Mary Ann Autry and brother, Clarence "Peedab" Haithcock. She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Hammond is survived by her husband, Dennis Hammond; two daughters, Sheila Brown and fiancee, Shane McLamb and Kasey Hammond Holmes; two granddaughters, Katelyn Brown and Madison Holmes; two grandsons, Jonathan Robinson and Ruffin Holmes; three sisters, Doris Melvin and husband, Doug, Betty Faircloth and husband, James Earl and Mandy Leftwich and husband, Brent; one half brother, Herman Faircloth and numerous nieces and nephews.

The familly will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 pm Sunday, January 21 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and at other times at the home.
