Mrs. Juanita Fouts Brittingham, 94 went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Hope Mills Retirement Center.

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM Saturday, February 8, 2025 at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy, officiating will be Rev. Roy Burton, Rev. Donald Baldwin, Rev. Louis Pender and Rev. Danny Byrd.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Friday, February 7, 2025 at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Blair and Hattie Mae Fouts; Brothers, Arnold, Blair Jr., Clyde and Harold Fouts; and her sister, Lettie Hebert.

Juanita was an administrative clerk for Salisbury State University, Salisbury, Maryland, and she pastored a church in Delmar and one in Seaford, Delaware for many years.  She was also a hospital Chaplain and she retired as a Hospice Chaplain.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 73 years, Woolsey Brittingham; her daughter, Brenda Sogluizzo & husband, Joe; grandchildren, Jessica Clark and Kristen Crafton & husband, Jason; great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Andrew, Madison, Juanita Lace and Connor; and her sister, Eilene Baldwin.
