Mrs. Joyce L. T. Weaver, 65

Roseboro Mrs. Joyce Lee Tanner Weaver, 65, of 2806 S. Salemburg Highway, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2007 at Kitty Askins Hospice Center in Goldsboro. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2007 at 3:00 P. M. at Butler Funeral Home with the Pastor Jimmie Weaver and Rev. Glenn Morgan officiating. Burial will follow at Roseboro Cemetery. Mrs. Weaver was a native of Sampson County, the daughter of the late Aaron Love and Velma Williford Tanner. She was a member of Liberty Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church where she served as the church clerk for 30 years and was a member of The Way Travelers gospel singing group. Mrs. Weaver is survived by: husband, Jimmie Weaver, of the home; son, Travis Keith Weaver, of Roseboro; brother, Steve Tanner, of Newnan, Georgia; two grandchildren, Leanna Crumpler and Aaron Weaver. The family will receive friends Friday night, May 25, 2007 from 7 till 9 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. Services are entrusted to Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
