STEDMAN Mrs. Joyce Horne Starling, 64 of 5463 NC Hwy. 210 S., Stedman, died on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville. The funeral will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 at Stedman Church of God of Prophecy with Pastor Donald Baldwin officiating. Burial will follow at the Bullard Cemetery in Stedman. Mrs. Starling was born on February 27, 1948 in Cumberland County to Avery and Bernice Raynor Horne. She is preceded in death by her father; and her husband, Randolph Starling, Sr. She was a homemaker. She is survived by: one son, Randolph "Randy" Starling, Jr. of Roseboro; one daughter, Annette Starling of Stedman; her mother, Bernice Horne of Stedman; one brother, Johnny Horne of Stedman; one sister, Joanne Creswell of Stedman; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home in Stedman and other times at the home.
