Joyce Sessoms Knight, 75 went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM Monday, September 23, 2024 at Butler Funeral Home Chapel in Stedman.  Burial will follow at White Oak Family Worship Center Cemetery in White Oak.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 AM to 11:50 AM Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.

Joyce is preceded in death by her parents, Floyd Gregory Sessoms and Rowena McMillan; son, Matthew Gregory Knight; and her brother, Clayton Sessoms.

Joyce was a former Vice President and Retail Banking Manager with Wachovia Banks in Fayetteville for many years.  She was also the first woman Field Representative in the banking business.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband, Randy Knight of the home; daughter, Jennifer Stacy Orrock & husband, Jason of Montgomery, AL; grandchildren, Kayli, Rebecca and Ben Knight, Madeline and Cooper Webster, Madeline and Jackson Orrock; her brother, Ray Sessoms & wife, Stephanie of Raleigh and her sister-in-law, Denise Sessoms.
