Joyce Elizabeth (Honeycutt) Johnson

Mrs. Joyce Elizabeth Honeycutt Johnson, 73, of Autryville, NC, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 at her home surrounded by her family, after battling PPH/PAH for 46 years.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, May 3, 2025 at Clement Baptist Church with Pastor Caleb Autry, Dr. Jimmy Dees, and Pastor Robert Faircloth officiating.

A visitation will be held from 1:00 -1:50 PM at Clement Baptist Church prior to the service.

Mrs. Joyce Johnson was a native of Long Island, NY. She was the daughter of Ottis and Betty Honeycutt. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Joyce Johnson served in the Army from 1969-1971, as an E-4 Communication Specialist at Fort Gordon, Georgia. She attended Clement Baptist Church and was an Administrative Assistant for 12 years at the church. She was also a Secretary of Spanish Mission over 20 years and a teacher of VBS.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 40 years, Danny Lee Johnson of Autryville; her children, Elizabeth Graning and husband Jason of Tennessee, Valerie McCauley and husband Brice of Wisconsin, Maria Hodges of Stedman, Chris Johnson and Tina of Lumberton; seven grandchildren, Christopher Gagne, Jr. (Marissa) of Oklahoma, Kailee Sneyd of Tennessee, Gavin McCauley (Chelsea) of Wisconsin, Hannah Hodges of Stedman, Lilly Hodges of Stedman, Dustin Johnson of Lumberton, and Rosie Johnson of Lumberton; two great grandchildren, Emma Gagne of Oklahoma, and Olivia Joyce Gagne of Oklahoma; a sister, Gail Csizmar (Patrick) of Salemburg; and several nieces and friends.
