Joshua Lynn Jackson, 36 passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2024 at Carolina Beach.

Funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM Wednesday, August 28, 2024 at Union Grove Baptist Church in Salemburg.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM Wednesday at the church before the service.

Joshua is preceded in death by his brother, Adam Brent Jackson; paternal grandparents, Caswell & Alene Jackson; and his maternal grandparents, Don & Eunice Page.

Joshua loved Poochie his best friend and cat of 15 years, driving his mustang, going to the beach, going to watermelon conventions with his Dad, fishing, hunting, and beating his Mama playing cards.  He never met a stranger, he loved talking to people and was willing to help anyone that he could.  He will be remembered for having a heart of gold.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his parents, Brent and Debbie Jackson of the home; brother, Rodney Jackson & wife, Melissa of Autryville; niece, Jordan Grace Jackson; nephews, Nicholas Adam Jackson, and Weston Cade Jackson; aunt & uncle, Karen & Larry King and family; aunt, Becky; and uncles, Ronald, Mike and Don, Jr.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the local animal shelter or to One’s favorite charity.
