He was preceded in death by his parents, William Joseph Meredith and Ada Genita Saddler Meredith; brother, Ricky and a sister, Susan.

He is survived by his son, Chris Meredith & wife, Monica; and grandchildren, Alyssa Jade Meredith, Kailee Shay Meredith and Gavin Joseph Meredith.
