Mr. Joseph "Sam" Huston Bullard, 78 went to be with the Lord on Monday, September 26, 2022 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at Sharon Baptist Church with the Reverend Tommy Honeycutt officiating. The burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 12:50 PM on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at the church prior to the service.
Mr. Bullard was a native of Sampson County, the son of Joseph Hamilton and Flossie Irene Carty Bullard. He was preceded in death by his parents; and nine brothers and sisters.
He leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Barbara A. Bullard of the home; his son, Joseph Frederick Bullard of the home; his daughter, Stephanie Bullard Beall and husband, Dane of Reidsville, GA; and his grandson, Brigham Beall.
