Mr. Joseph Elwin Hall, 78

Autryville Mr. Joseph Elwin Hall, 78, of 4212 Howard Road, passed away Monday, April 9, 2007 at The Carrol S. Roberson Hospice Center in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 11, 2007 at 2 PM at Halls United Methodist Church with the Rev. Carrie Parrish officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Hall was a native of Sampson County, the son of the late J.D. and Vivie Lewis Hall. He was a truck driver with Penske Truck Rental before retiring and was preceded in death by a son, Michael Hall and was a Navy Veteran. Mr. Hall is survived by: wife, Sylvia Jolly Hall, of the home; daughter, Sandra Hall, of Carrboro. The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 10, 2007 from 6 till 8 PM at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Halls United Methodist Church Building Fund, 4621 Minnie-Hall Road, Autryville, NC 28318.
