Mr. Joseph F. Davis, 87

GARLAND Mr. Joseph Franklin Davis, 87, of 5363 Old Fayetteville Road, Garland, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 11, 2007 at Campbellton Health Care Center in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held Friday, Sept. 14, 2007 at 11:00 A. M. at Cypress Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Richard Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Davis was a native of Bladen County and the son of the late Willie W. and Jannie Smith Davis. He was a general contractor before retiring. Mr. Davis was preceded in death by his son, Milton L. Davis, a sister, Emma Verrier and a brother, Henry Lee Davis. Mr. Davis is survived by: wife, Eula Mae Davis, of the home; two daughters, Hettie Bullard and husband Archie and Jannie Tuttle, all of Fayetteville; two sons, Larry F. Davis, of Daytona Beach, Florida and Jarvis F. Davis and wife Sandra, of Garland; three brothers, Harvie Davis and wife Elizabeth, of Fayetteville, Wilbert Davis and wife Evelyn, of Harrells and William T. Davis and wife Thelma, of Garland; 8 grandchildren, Robert Tuttle and wife, Faith, Maurice Bullard and wife Suzanne, Michael Davis and wife Kathy, Michelle Foltz and husband Tony, Jennifer Davis, Austin Davis and wife Lori, Joseph Davis and Kayla Cole; seven great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Thursday night from 6 till 8 P. M. at Butler Funeral Home in Roseboro.
