Mr. Joseph "Joe" Clarence Jackson, 87 went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 19, 2018 at his home surrounded by his family.

Graveside service will be held at 2:00pm Monday, April 23, 2018 at Cumberland Memorial Gardens, officiating will be Rev. Richard Robinson.

The family will receive friends from 12:30pm to 1:30pm Monday at the funeral home prior to the service.

He was a longtime member of Baywood Pentecostal Holiness Church and also retired from Sears with over 37 years of service in shipping and receiving.

He is preceded in death by his parents, David Clarence Jackson and Rena Porter Jackson; brother, Riley Jackson and sister, Loretta Lewis.

He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Ruby Cooper Jackson of the home; sons, David Bruce Jackson & wife, Magdalena of Fayetteville and Richard Lee Jackson & wife, Mary of Fayetteville; daughter, Sandra J. Bradshaw of Fayetteville; brothers, Charles Jackson & wife, Alice of Goldsboro and Bruce Jackson & wife, Evelyn of Autryville; grandchildren, Chris Bradshaw, Melissa Svehla and Carina Lopez; and great grandchildren, Beth, Ayden and Hannah.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in Joe's name to Baywood Church, 1830 Baywood Road, Fayetteville, NC 28312.
