Mr. Joseph T. Brinkley, 62

ROSEBORO Mr. Joseph Troy Brinkley, 62 of 2120 Pleasant Union Road, died on Wednesday, September 5, 2007 at Sampson Regional Medical Center in Clinton. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 8, 2007 at Pleasant Union Baptist Church at 2:00 P.M. with the Rev. Paul Honeycutt officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Mr. Brinkley was born in 1944 in Cumberland County to the late Alexander Troy and Florence Capps Brinkley. He worked as a telphone contractor. Mr. Brinkley is survived by: one son, Adam Troy Brinkley of Stedman; four daughters, Joann Hobson of Stedman, Nicole Howell of Georgia, Melissa Brinkley of Fayetteville, Candace McCowan of Fayetteville; two sisters, Doris Davis of Yanceycille, and Mary Jones of Winnabow; two brothers, Edmond Owen of Stedman, and Tommy Owen of Linden; nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday evening from 7 until 9 P.M. at Butler Funeral Home, 401 W. Roseboro Street, Roseboro.
